Sky Watch Friday - Happy 4th to USA Bloggers

For Sky Watch Friday, my nephew Zach gave me permission to use one of the sunset shots he took from our boat when we was here 2 weeks ago. It was a wonderful evening. We took the boat out just before the sun set and watched it "go down". The colors in the sky and reflected on the water were amazing. This is just one shot of many great ones he took! This is from the archives...Nate got a new haircut yesterday, but alas...no new bandanna. Will post more 4th of July photos tomorrow after our church's First Annual Boat Parade today!

Odd Shots Monday --- Nate's Summer 'Do

Summers can be brutal in Texas....we're hitting 100 degrees F already. Corgis have a 2nd coat so they get really warm. Plus, Nate LOVES to swim in the lake.....but it aggravates his skin if he stays wet a long time. SO, this is the summer Hair-Do he gets a couple of times each year! Odd Shots Monday and belated Camera Critter Sunday!

Since I skipped Camera Critters on Sunday because it was June 1 and therefore City Daily Photo Theme Day, I decided to use this Odd Shot of my favorite critter. Nate was just a few months old and on his first camping trip when we discovered his affection for the bottle! I assure you it was completely empty, though!
