Some of you are laughing .... I know ... but ice is an infrequent experience in this part of Texas. We usually get 1-4 days a year of it! It was tough getting out of my nice warm car in 27 degree weather to take this picture for you, so stop laughing!
More Skywatch here.
P.S. Thanks, Babooshka! Happy Belated Birthday!

I'm not laughing. I thank you for being so brave to get this absolutely beautiful shot.
Beautiful closeup.
I am not laughing! I think the picture is gorgeous but I am kinda glad I haven't seen anything like that in Tucson this winter!
then you will be shivering if you pop by my blog to see the snow photos!!!

A very nice shot. I really love it. Even if I know all about snow and ice and temperature far below 0 degrees, this was really an evocative picture.

Your shot is much more artistic than mine. Welcome back.
I come from the land of ice and snow and, trust me, this is a great photo. The ice looks like little flowers.
The ice crystals do look like little flowers!! I would tell you that you are brave to get out of the car to take the photo, but I caught some flak this week, for saying that -10 was almost balmy, compared with the -30 we had the previous week.
Thanks for sharing!
