Sky Watch Friday -- whew, no tornado here!

Reports of a tornado touching down near here at Canton this morning. I was blissfully ignorant, but went out side to take this shot right after I heard....the sun is already starting to peek out here. Hope everyone in the storm's path is ok!

Fly over to Wigger's World to see more SkyWatchFriday entries.

That is an impressive and scary shot, and I hope everyone is ok. I tend to hide in my bathroom (no windows) when we have tornado watch.

I read your comment on my abestown.blogspot.com blog this morning about my birds and bird photography. You mentioned that you have been taking pictures for 40 years. I don't think I have said but I began taking pictures in 1953 in the Army in Japan and never quit. I also am considered an artist and designer and even had my own 13-week television series, so I apply many ideas about composition and structure and color to the photos I show on any of my blogs.

Thanks again. I appreciate your comments and hope you can return some day.

The storm started just a few miles SW of here. All we got were a few clouds like yours.

Nice shot.

And there are more and more since then. Thank goodness you are OK and I pray for the ones who are suffering.
