Camera Critters Sunday -- get those skeeters!

I'm not really sure what this is, but someone said it was a "mosquito hawk". If that means it eats mosquitoes (or "skeeters" as some call them around here), then I'm all for it!

Dragonflies are great for catching mosquitoes, that's for sure!

Lake Lady...I am happy that you have nesting boxes. There is a web site all about the wood duck nesting boxes. Snakes and raccoon (which will kill the hen also) are a problem. They show the predator cone that you need under their best practices page. I love these little ducks..

Nesting boxes are a real bonus for wildlife. Whatever the image is I know we don't get them here. You are always introducing me to new critters.
