CDPB May Theme: Numbers

OK, I haven't made it home from lovely San Antonio yet! But my numbers theme shot is in the Blog Header collage above! Seven Points, Texas is one of the small towns around Cedar Creek Lake. See below for more numbers about Seven Points. Seven Points is a city in Henderson and Kaufman Counties in the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 1,145 at the 2000 census.
The city is named for an intersection where seven roads converge. These are not Old West wagon trails, however; the town did not exist until nearby Cedar Creek Reservoir was built in the 1960s, and was not incorporated until the 1970s. The seven roads consist of two state highways (three directions), a farm-to-market road, and three county roads. The unique convergence of Highways 334, 274, FM 85 and Pritchett, Kelly and Veterans Lanes. Unfortunately, the area is under major construction right now, so no photo of the intersection.
Seven Points is located at 32°19′59″N, 96°12′47″W (32.333044, -96.212939)[3].
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.5 square miles (6.5 km²), of which, 2.5 square miles (6.4 km²) of it is land and 0.40% is water.

Hispanic or Latino of any race was 6.03% of the population.
There were 455 households out of which 33.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.3% were married couples living together, 14.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.1% were non-families. 25.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. that is a heck of a lot more than seven points you told us about seven points
sounds more like a village than a city
great post for the theme.

That is quite some recent history there in that town. It has a small land area. But the statistics are so familiar: the people living alone, the small families, small income. I'm wondering where the rich folk live, cause it ain't here where I am or there.
