Ever wonder what it takes to build or repair a boathouse? Oh come on, SURE you did. Well, here's how they get the heavy equipment to the site. It's sometimes a long, slow journey. This morning I kept hearing something that sounded like heavy equipment and at first thought (hopefully) that they were working on our road. But when I looked out the other side of the house, this is what I found! These shots were taken from my deck looking over to Buster's boathouse.

What's buster up to over there, Lake Lady? Water level is down, is he dredging?
You're right, Raf....we're down 1.4 feet. But no dredging...just adding some pipe to further stabilize the new party deck... you know what a wild bunch of party animals we are out here! LOL.
I think I work with a lady whose husband does boat house work on Cedar Creek Lake.
You have a beautiful view from your deck. Sorry to hear the lake is down. Ours is usually low, but not with this rainy summer...
