No way to do this scene justice with my G5 and my skills.....but it sure was fun to watch! We had the water sprinklers going and this little humming bird was having a ball bathing in the falling shower. She/he spread feathers I never knew they had! Flitting back and forth, pausing to drink from a leaf, it was just amazing to watch.

I've heard that they love a mister. I bet they were thrilled to have a bath. I will have to try that Lake Lady!
Nice captures! I knew hummers liked water mist, but have never seen one at play in it. Well done.
Oh, I do love these little birds! You got some great photos - they move so fast! They live here all summer and I never get tired of watching them. We have named one of our cottages Hummingbird Hollow because there are so many here.
